Our Company’s History

1953




Richard Niesser established the Niesser Metal Refining Company in Behringersdorf. In the beginning the emphasis was on the polishing and sanding of metal parts, which changed with the purchase of a subcontracted electroplating. This addition shifted the business’s focus to the nickel plating and chromium plating of metal parts.

1970

Handing over of the company to the son Günter.

1973

Renovating and constructing of the company building.

1974

Commissioning of the first Nickel-Chrome-Machine.

1980


Move into a new contruction in Röthenbach an der Pegnitz. An electroplating machine for barrel and rack zinc plating is being build single-handedly.

1984


With a new addition to the building, an electroplating machine for copper, nickel, polished chrome, and black chrome surfaces is being installed.

1993

Conversion from a sole proprietorship into a GmbH (private company).

1992-94


Extending of the existing buildings in Röthenbach. Set up of a warehouse for chemicals, a packing room, new offices, and social spaces.

2004


Günter Niesser retires as the manager of the company. His daughter Karin Mueller assumes sole management. The emphasis of the orders shifts towards galvanizing.

2008-09

Addition of a warehouse for the loading and unloading of trucks regardless of weather conditions.

2009


Commissioning of a new zinc electroplating machine for barrel and rack plated goods. The system has a chrome-VI-free design.
